Tula's Heart

Happy Wednesday friends! Another Sweet Sketch Wednesday challenge starts today and this time we have a blast from the past sketch and an added twist to it. The twist is to add stitching to your card - real or faux.

The original sketch being used this week was created by Arlana Patten. It was used in weeks 44 and 203 by the first SSW team. It has a fun and fresh look I think.

Dilly Beans Digi Stamps
Our sponsor this week is Megan Suarez, the owner and artist of Dilly Beans Digi Stamps. She is generously providing the grand prize winner of our challenge with three free digi stamps of their choice. Her wonderful illustrations are loved by all. Thanks Megan!

I used Tula's Heart from Dilly Beans on my card for you this week. It was colored with Copic markers and then cut out and mounted on the diamond panel. The papers I used with it are from Stampin' Up and I like this fresh color combination. For the challenge twist I added faux stitching around the card base and the diamond panel.

Our Sweet Sketch Wednesday design team samples are fantastic this week with the Dilly Beans images so be sure to hop on over there to check them out.

Tillie Mae

Welcome back friends. Here's my inspiration for you in this week's challenge at Sweet Sketch Wednesday. This sweet Digi Stamp Boutique image looks just like our dear dog Tillie Mae who spent the weekend with our good friend Heide while we were taking our son to Purdue University.

He's off to a good start - already soooo loving the experience, his new dorm room and roommate and really excited for his new life at Purdue.  Here's how I feel about it....

There are probably a lot of moms out there that are familiar with these images and feelings of the occasion! I'll just have to stick to my crafting making cards to send off to him at Purdue!

So back to the challenge....Here's the sketch for the week - another good one from our Sally.

Digi Stamp Boutique is the sponsor of our challenge and we thank Sally Ann for her generous prize package for the grand prize winner who will receive a £10 voucher to the DSB store.

This image from DSB is simply called Mac and it just so cute isn't it? The Westie was brought to life with Copic markers and with fun papers from American Crafts.

New Butterfly

Happy day friends! Today starts a new challenge at Sweet Sketch Wednesday and our sponsor this week is the fabulous Doodle Pantry. Let's get started...

Here's the sketch for the challenge - quick and easy going together and terrific for those larger and wider images.

We all love the whimsical characters, beautiful flowers and gorgeous scenery images created by Laurie Wilson at Doodle Pantry and are always thrilled to have her as our challenge sponsor. This week the grand prize winner will receive a $10 coupon to use in the Doodle Pantry store. Thanks Laurie for your wonderful and generous prize package!

I chose this beautiful "New Butterfly" digi set from Doodle Pantry to create my inspiration for you today. I was immediately attracted to the intense blue and green colors of the precolored butterfly and decided to combine it with the daisy in the set. I used the precolored versions to keep the color intensity. The butterfly was printed twice, cut out and popped up for dimension. A second butterfly was printed for the placement of the embellishment in the sketch.  The digital papers used here come in the set and perfectly match the blue of the butterfly.

We are showcasing a terrific selection of Doodle Pantry images this challenge so pop on over to Sweet Sketch Wednesday for more inspiration!

Cover Your Putter

How's this for a little golf advice? Hah! We're having some fun with Bugaboo digis this week at Sweet Sketch Wednesday!

Here's the sketch to use in our challenge this week. It's a good one and the team's selection of cards with this sketch all look so different. I hope you'll give it a try!

We always have a good time creating with Bugaboo Stamps and this week is no exception. Jodi is generously sponsoring our challenge and the grand prize winner will receive seven free digis from Bugaboo. What an amazing prize package!

I just couldn't resist this hysterical image for my golfing friends. It's called Gus Golf and is part of Bugaboo's "Frame It" collection. They will all have a laugh over this one!
